Members of KCnext – The Technology Council of Greater Kansas City receive some significant benefits and advantages

Industry Advocacy

KCnext works to brief and educate elected officials about the legislative needs of our KC regional tech industry. KCnext also monitors federal and state legislation that impacts our Tech Council members.

Expanded Tech Network

As a membership organization, technology companies involved with KCnext immediately expand their network within the entire regional tech industry. Members advise and help craft the KC area tech agenda. The Tech Council marries large tech firms with emerging, fast-growing tech companies that allow larger firms to identify innovative technologies, and drive customers to the smaller companies.

Shared Membership Database

All Technology Council members receive a company listing with a brief profile and logo representation. Members also receive information on the many premier companies throughout the tech/IT industry.

Tech Workforce Development

The Technology Council works to research the workforce needs within the industry. KCnext members collaborate with related business, KC area universities and other regional training programs to upgrade workers’ skills and increase the tech workforce pipeline. The Technology Council also works to recruit tech innovators and the best and the brightest talent from universities and other markets from across the country.

Centralized Voice for the Tech Industry

KCnext speaks for the tech industry in the Kansas City area. By providing an industry forum, KCnext brings tech professionals and tech innovators together to share the tech activity occurring in the KC area. The Technology Council implements a comprehensive regional vision for the industry.

Educational Programs

KCnext – The Technology Council of Greater Kansas City hosts quarterly educational programs for Tech Council members and regional tech professionals. These informative series provide the latest tech industry news and updates.

Networking Events

More than 300 tech professionals and tech innovators join us three times each year to network with industry peers, establish new relationships and develop strategic partnerships.
