KCnext member Dot Registry applies for four gTLD’s to represent registered U.S. businesses

Dot Registry, LLC pledged its commitment to the U.S. business community by applying for four new gTLDs through the Internet Corporation of Assigned Names and Numbers. According to company’s official release, Dot Registry applied for .INC, .LLC, .LLP and .CORP which it will use to specifically represent registered businesses in the U.S.

“The goal is to create increased integrity for business representation online by developing gTLDs that represent specific business entity classification,” Shaul Jolles, CEO of Dot Registry, said. “Through our corporate gTLD strings we will work to decrease the possibility of identity misrepresentation in a cyber setting and assist small to medium businesses in legitimizing their services online.”
